QuickBooks Payroll Support
Obtaining and Applying Standard and Enhanced Payroll Service Keys
If you received your service key, you need to apply it to your QuickBooks data file before your service is activated. Click here for complete instructions on applying service keys.
If you purchased Basic, Standard or Enhanced Payroll and have not received or misplaced the service key assigned to your company, or received a message that the service key is invalid, please access our free call back support page.
Disk Delivery Key
Once a year when your subscription for your disk delivery service renews, the disk delivery key is updated. At this time the new key is mailed to the address we have on file. If you are unsure of what to do with your new key, click here to learn how to enter the new key into QuickBooks.
If your QuickBooks is asking you to update your tax tables and you do not have the service key, you can obtain one by requesting a callback.

Incorrect Charge For Payroll
There are a couple of things to consider when there appears to be an incorrect or duplicate charge.
- If the charges are two different amounts, you may have another Intuit service that appears under a similar name on your statement. For example, you may also have QuickBooks technical support or an annual billing to receive the newest version of QuickBooks every year (this is the Plus part of Enhanced or Assisted Plus, also called version protection).
- If the charges are the same amount, you may want to speak with your financial institution first. Sometimes what appears to be duplicate charge is not an actual double billing.
If neither of these situations are true, you can request a customer service representative to call you back. We will gladly refund duplicate billings and do not charge for the callback request.

To cancel your payroll service subscription, please have your subscription number ready and contact Intuit Payroll Services.
